Description:

The Cape Barren goose (Cereopsis novaehollandiae) is a large goose resident in southern Australia. The species is named for Cape Barren Island, where specimens were first sighted by European explorers. These birds were spotted in Willowbanks zoo ark, Christchurch NZ.
