Tiger Inchworm Moth

Dysphania sagana

Description:

Yellow body and wings, with a scattering of black dots across the wings and black tips with white dots on the tips of the wings.

Habitat:

Found just inland from a ferry dock on the warm, sunny Thai island of Koh Chang.

Notes:

the most colorful moth I've ever seen in person

Geometridae, Dysphania sagana, a diurnal moth. Nice spotting. More common is Dysphania militaris:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysphania_m...
But you could also notice the differences: Militaris has stronger markings.
