At last I got a chance with this butterfly in the light. Last 2 photos it was hiding away in the shade! I think this one was a female, as another butterfly was flying around, trying to mount her, presumably a male. I just saw 8 or 10 of these beauties feeding on the neem tree next door. They flutter their wings while feeding, then dart off to another spot on the tree. They fly very fast.
