Alpacas. These alpacas live at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, Maryland. They are native to the central and southern Andes Mountains, from Peru to Argentina. They have become a popular breed of domesticated livestock in the United States and raised for their fleece, which is one of the finest and warmest fleece in the world.
