Buteo swainsoni
The adults are white on the underparts with a dark, reddish "bib" on the chest and a noticeable white throat and face patch. The tail is gray-brown with about six narrow dark bands and one wider subterminal band. The upperparts are brown. (wikipedia)
Their breeding habitat is prairie and dry grasslands in western North America. They migrate to South America for the winter.
Locally called Grasshopper Hawk or Locust Hawk.

You're welcome! I have worked closely with them for about 15 years at a rehab center, but seeing them in the wild is always amazing!
