Description:

Gorgeous blue/purple, green and red bird. The head has a purple/blue crest. The eyes and flight feathers are red.

Habitat:

San Diego Zoo Safari Park. "It is found in Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. They live in moist woodland and evergreen forests." - Wikipedia

Oh I just LOVE Turacos. They are such nice birds. I befriended one at a small zoo in Palo Alto. He lets me feed him blueberries by hand.
