Description:

Is a very small bird, 9- to 10.5-cm-long. Is brown above, greyer beneath, barred with darker brown and grey, even on wings and tail. The bill is dark brown, the legs pale brown. Young birds are less distinctly barred. They usually stop their tail in vertical position.

Habitat:

It has the habit of disappearing into cavities or crevices whilst hunting arthropods or to roost. In most of northern Europe and Asia, it nests mostly in coniferous forests

He did not stop singing while hopping around bushes near my workplace. it was really hard to make a mildly decent picture because he did not stop for more than a few seconds!
