Thank you for coming to my rescue, LuckyLogan! You're a treasure :-))) Slimy cap? Not sure but I didn't touch them. They appeared a little on the dry or dusty side, not what I'd call slimy to look at...

The first one has a cluster like yours but yours doesn't appear to have the slimy cap?
