Grey upperparts and underparts, orange throat, breast and rump, black mask and white supercilium. The cape robin-chat is medium sized (15 to 20cm long).

Habitat:

Swartberg mountain: transition from fynbos vegetation (south) to Karoo arid shrub vegetation (north)
