Yellow-collared Scape Moth

Description:

Adults commonly seen visiting flowers during the day; adults also fly at night, and are attracted to light.

Habitat:

This moth is active during late spring and summer in fields and forest edges throughout Canada south to Texas and Florida. Seen at Mason Farm Biological Preserve.
