Description:

A dark, mottled snake.

Habitat:

Notes:

This morning when I reached back to close the door before my walk I felt something: cool, slick, coiled, weird, not normal.

I will bet that it was a surprise! Once I reached for a stick near a water facet and almost picked up a black snake sunning.
