This butterfly had maybe a 8-9cm wingspan. It's larger front wings were clear with 2 black spots. Its smaller rear wings were black & white with red/orange spots.

1st, 2nd and 4th shots are very fantastic... nice show..
That's really interesting Martin because that's exactly what he did! I have a track near my home through the bush. He flew up & down this track contiunuosly. He circled me many times, then glided away, only to return again & again. It's the first time I'd seen this butterfly & I must say, I really enjoyed the chase :)
