Description:

Large, spiny succulent comprising green, flattened branches. Flowers yellow or orange and up to 100mm long; appear March-July. Fruit ovoid and yellowish.

Habitat:

Favours rocky ground and frield marins. Alien but widely cultivated and planted for hedging.
