tropical forest

Notes:

I spotted this and a few other really large beetle in Nam Nao National Park. It was one of the largest beetles I've ever held in my hand.

...auntnance is right - he reminds me of a samurai's head gear and the exaggerated shoulders -"samurai beetle" would be perfect !

That looks like a kind of stag beetle. I don't know though if such a species exist in thailand.
