Hogna carolinensis
Very long and large wolf spider - 2 1/2 inches. With baby on back using surface tension of water to swim across.
Pond/woodlands
I just found the video I took on a forgotten external hard drive. It was a first video I took with my new camera. So please forgive. The spider is trying to get her baby. In the photos you see the baby on her back.

Fantastic! You should add this to the Brooding Behavior in Arthropods mission - I'm sure there is no behavior like this there!
