Spotting

Description:

Group of very small red fungi growing on a dead tree branch. Feels like sand paper to the touch. Apparently no moisture is necessary for it's growth. Individual fungi is only 1mm in height.

Habitat:

Found on a dead tree branch.

Actually. It may be a slime mold. I did not see it was on a tree.

Thank you Mark for your suggestion.. but I they do not look like slime molds. They are hard to the touch.
