Green bird with an orange beak and a red ring about the neck, giving the head an overall appearance of a helmet. The underside of the wings have black in them as well.
These birds were living in the walls of an ancient, abandoned city in India. The air was hot and dry.
In the third picture you can see one of the parakeets facing off with a pigeon. The next shot, with the parakeet in flight, was actually taken while the pigeon and the parakeet did battle.
