Luna Moth

Description:

Wings are pale green with light eye-spot on each. Wingspan about 68 mm, length, with tails about 60mm. Hindwing tails cross eachother in a scissors like fashion. Broad front margin of forewing, dark brown. Body is stout and covered with white setae. Legs, brown. Antennae, white and moderately plumose.

Habitat:

Suburban, moderately wooded neighborhood near deciduous forest.
