Hermit Crab

Description:

Forms of this terrestrial crab are found across the entire Indo-Pacific. Due to this there are quite a number of variations in colour, size and general morphology. They eat vegetation, scavenge, hunt insects or anything else in the leaf litter and in some areas the big ones eat the small ones.
