Ridiculously cute little owl! Even when it regurgitated a pellet onto my (thankfully gauntleted) hand! You can see the action in photo 5!

Habitat:

Reelfoot Visitors Center

Notes:

This little owl was brought in with a broken wing & cannot be released so is now an educational bird at the center.

Wow this little girls is realy cute and the series super interesting,the regurgitating process is a awesome beahveour that pray birds have,i study these balls and we can see the skeletons of the animals they eat,i saw mice and many arthropds exoskeletons,very cool,congrats and thanks for sharing
