Description:

Wading bird. About 2 feet tall. Dark brown, mottled with white spots. Long straight bill.

Notes:

I thought they were juvenile white ibises at first. But then I noticed the bills were not curved.

You are most welcome.
According to my bird guide they only really live in Florida (year round at that) as far as the USA goes, though there have been occasional spottings in other states. That second picture looks like one of the birds has a big, fat snail. :)
