Trifolium pratense
Member of the pea family. The flower head is round, and pinkish purple, distinguished from the similar zigzag clover by the hairs present on the stem and around the flower. I found this on the way home from work today.
Very common in meadows, roadsides, hedgerows, etc. I found this one next to the sidewalk.
Testing out my new phone's camera! Not too bad, I think. Will use it to take snaps on my way to and from work from now on, I think.
