The adult male has distinctive multicolored iridescent plumage and red eyes,with a distinctive white flare down the neck.
Spotted at Lake Fenwick near Federal Way,Wa. The lake has a lot of breeding habitat for Wood ducks, especially on the west side of the lake where its shallow and lots of lily pads and vegetation.
