Least Chipmunk

Neotamias minimus

Description:

These cute chipmunks are the smallest and most common of North American chipmunks. They have five black stripes down the back separated by white and three black lines separated by white on the face. Sides are orangish-brown and gray. Underside is a grayish-white.

Habitat:

They are widely distributed across North America in mixed coniferous and deciduous forests, pine forests, and sagebrush flats.

Your chipmunks look different than "our" chipmunks in Georgia, USA. Cute stripes on the face.
