When I found this one I thought the top must feel wet and/or slimy. Had a laugh when it turned out to be more like polythene wrap film. 180mm tall; 80mm across the cap; no volva, frill or cortina on stipe; solitary

Habitat:

Under medium height eucalyptus in leaf mulch. Suburban sports field.

This fellow seems to be a senior citizen. I wonder if it looks like a rooting shank in its prime?
