Baltimore Oriole

Icterus galbula

Notes:

I have been trying SO hard to get pictures of these birds!! I've seen and heard quite a few this year, but they like to hide. I happened to spot this guy as a major storm was blowing in. The tree was whipping like crazy, rain was pelting my camera, and this little guy was just singing his heart out! So, now you understand the poor quality of my photos. Lol

I appreciate your effort. Mine land just out of lens length or behind a twig. We will keep trying and with a little luck catch a good photo. I have had a nesting pair for 4 years now in my area. Going looking for the nest again this year, but the area they choose is not hiking friendly.
