American Kestrel Chicks

Falco sparverius

Habitat:

These birds were nesting in the eaves of an open shed, in a fairly rural area.

Notes:

There were four chicks in the nest(one is hiding behind the others). At this point they were about 5 weeks old. I checked the nest a week later and it was empty, though I can still see and hear them around sometimes.
