Description:

The big, round black abdomen is what catches the eye first. The spider has caught a moth. There are egg sacs in the back ground, hanging in the web.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty in the Dooars region of West Bengal, India. This species was seen in the garden of the resort.

Notes:

Looks a lot like a tick with that abdomen...or a miniature black grape.
