Sorry to belabour this but the distribution looks so unlikely, I went back and researched this. From Monograph of the Salticidae (Araneae) of the World 1995-2011: Distribution: "America North; USA: Arizona, California" AND Synonyms and combinations: "(misidentified - from Philippines)" from 1905. ( http://www.gsd-salt.miiz.waw.pl/salticid... ) Also "Philippines - List of Species of Salticidae" does not include the genus Marpissa ( http://salticidae.org/salticid/diagnost/... )
Marpissa robusta is a North American species I believe. I don't know if the widespread genus Marpissa occurs in the Philippines or not. It is clear this is a jumping spider (Family Salticidae) but I don't know if much more can be said about it without additional reference material.
