This shrub has an edible fruit and leaves that's sour taste that can grow to 45-60 cm. It bears fruit during rainy season. Unripe fruits are colored red then turns black.
Grows in the the mossy forest with moist soils but locals often sell them as a bonsai.
I finally found it. This one is a medinilla. But i could not figure out if its m. cumingii or m. speciosa or what.
These are native growers in the northern part of Luzon usually found in a shaded area of the forest.
The leaves look completely different than the ones coming up for Phytolacca.
Pokebush? I guess not. Pokebush is a toxic plant containing phytolaccatoxin that can be poisonous to humans. This one can be eaten. And there's a great difference too, the leaves for instance.
