Common Gum Tree Shield Bug Nymph

Poecilometis patruelis

Description:

A mottled brown bug nymph with white patterns on either side of the midline. The dark bug had pale mottled patterns on head, thorax and scutellum. Pic 2 shows short wing buds. Part of the third antennal segments were yellow.

Habitat:

Spotted scurrying across a pavement - area had eucalyptus trees.
