Description:

Caterpillar of the Citrus or Orchard Swallowtail Butterfly, shades of green patterned with black, brown, white and yellow with spines on body of similar colour to where they emerge from body. This one prepares for transformation stage into pupa and has already attached itself by silk threads to the twig on this citrus tree and has formed itself into the classic curled position.

Habitat:

Eastern Australia, this one in garden citrus tree.
