Thanks ForestDragon! The Latin root "septentrio" means North so perhaps
"Northern Glyphidocera," but that's quite a mouthful! :)

What about Genus Glyphidocera? It looks similar to many of them. http://bugguide.net/node/view/163988/bgp...
