Description:

Tentatively calling this a straight-snouted weevil (Brentidae) which are present in Papua, but the species remains unidentified.

Habitat:

Spotted on spikemoss (Selaginella sp.) along as survey transect in secondary coastal lowland mixed freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp forest.
