The flash really altered the true colors of this specimen making it really difficult. We will be back in the field in July and get more photos!
Maybe, but I looked it up and they look like they have a darker abdomen than in this picture. I don't know; I am not familiar with that species.

Something about the way it looks makes it look like some of the Theraphosa sp., but I am horrible at IDing wild Ts (captive are usually easier because there are certain ones to be familiar with).
