Llama

Lama Glama

Description:

Normally would be called a beast of burden. It is used to carry burdens or for meat in South America. It can carry 25% to 30% of it's weight for 5 to 8 miles. He has a long neck and is a social animal. His fur makes a fine wool.

Habitat:

VA farm and pastures sharing the space with other farm animals.

Notes:

The second picture is of the Llama, Micah's Highland cow and the Alpaca. They all had been looking over the fence to see what was going on at the Log cabin because all the relatives had assembled for the Graduation of our Grandson.
