Description:

Found hit by a car in the road. As part of our study we bring in snakes we find dead to determine if they are one of our or if they have ever been pit tagged. This also gave us insight into the details of the keeled scales and fang structure, as you can see now too!

Thank you for adding the biological study information. It helps show that you know what you're doing, especially so the students on this site don't think that just everyone should be opening a pit viper's mouth (even if the snake is deceased).
