Description:

Up to 60mm tall and 60mm across; pileus reddish orange, slightly domed or flat, sometimes with remnants spaced around the margin; gills free, white at first becoming stained with spore to black-grey; stipe medium narrow, slightly translucent, white-cream to darker pale orange at the base.

Habitat:

Growing from deep woodchip mulch fairly new (1 year?) in public park.

Notes:

Also known as Leratiomyces ceres, Stropharia aurantiaca, Naematoloma aurantiaca, 'Redlead Roundhead' Poisonous
