Daddy long legs of some kind found hanging out on my dads pool
Seem to live anywhere
arachnids known for their long walking legs, compared to body size
I lead nature hikes and they are my best thing to talk about in the fall. Makes the nature talk interesting for all. Google a real Daddy Long Legs Spider and the Harvestman and compare them side by side.
The Harvestman does belong to Arachnids but is not a spider (Araneae). The difference between harvestmen and spiders is that in harvestmen the two main body sections (the abdomen with ten segments and cephalothorax, or prosoma and opisthosoma) are broadly joined, so that they appear to be one oval structure; they also have no venom or silk glands.
well I was trying to find the specific type of daddy long legs but I suppose that works
