today when i visited the nearby river found this cormorant trapped badly in a fishing net. and i released him. i don't know correct id for this one there are three species of cormorants found in sri lanka Little Cormorant (Phalacrocorax niger) Indian Cormorant (Phalacrocorax fusciollis) Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo)
