Philippine Dwarf Tarantula

Phlogiellus baeri

Description:

Mostly just a plain, brown tarantula with a purplish hue on the legs. Some specimen are darker, this one was surprisingly timid, it might be because it had just molted which also explains its lighter coloration than most tarantulas I've seen. Around 5 cm. a pretty large specimen for the species, but not the largest I've found.

Habitat:

Found inside a garden pot with also a bunch of tarantulas and creepy crawlies.

Notes:

Also did a spotting of the same species two years ago. https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/12... it was smaller and darker. (Excuse my dirty hands, I was doing gardening when this spider appeared)
