Black-velvet leatherleaf

Belocaulus angustipes

Description:

It is jet black in color with similarly colored tentacles. The mantle extends over the entire length of the body. The dorsal surface of the mantle may appear velvety or wrinkled. The foot appears tripartite because the mantle of this species has black flecks along the margins.

Notes:

I have found four to five under a potted plant and larger slugs during the day and night in flower bed.
