(a.k.a. Purpleblow Maple) Deciduous. Small to medium tree often 30-40' tall (max. 56'). Related to Norway Maple, but smaller with more rounded crown; star-shaped leaves distinctive. Native to China. Uncommonly but increasingly cultivated especially in warmer regions. (per Kenn Kaufman)
