Rainbow Lorikeet

Description:

Very bright and colorful.

Habitat:

Coastal regions of northern and eastern Australia.

Notes:

This guy, (and his friend that was with him) although wild, was quite tame and even ate out of my hand. I'm not sure if this is characteristic of this species or just the ones in my town, as I often see people leaving feed out on their balconies, so they would be used to humans.

Thanks for the welcome Argy! :) They are cool birds.
Yeah I think I can see myself spending a lot of time at this site!

Now it starts matt. They'll be opening that door tomorrow. They're great little plucky birds though. Ours bluff huge flocks of cockies to get seeds. Welcome to Project Noah by the way!
