Black head and eyes, with a pale blue body. Wings have distinct dark spots that extend one third of wings, with white or blue spot following another third of wings. Females are more of an obscured brown or yellowish color.
Found resting on some tall stems and blended well with the skullcap flowers in a wet ditch-line separating the road and my yard.
