Regal Moth

Citheronia regalis

Notes:

My wife and her co-workers found this lovely on the sidewalk outside the office this morning just as I was dropping off the wife. She called me over and I was able to collect it and bring it home.

That is sad...so far, after three attempts, none of my moths have eclosed...I guess that is why they lay so many eggs...Thanks for the note!

Unfortunately no just added a note explaining where I picked this one up.

My previous spotting never eclosed.
