This snake was found on the bike trail in Starkey Nature Park. Upon closer inspection, the little snake had a green tip on its tail and a pointy head.

It's a juvenile Cottonmouth. The yellow tail tip is used to lure in prey, such as frogs. As the snake matures it loses the yellow tip.
