Xysticus sp.
Fairly large female Crab Spider. Discovered "posing" in the garden. Secured herself to the leaf by some silk so that even when I bent the leaf she still was able to balance straight up. Males and females of this species are sexually dimorphic, meaning they look different. Males tend to have much darker bodies and more distinct patterning. They are also slightly different shaped.
Suburban backyard garden.
The speciation for this spider is my best guess. I will update if someone can confirm a different ID.
