Double-Crested Cormorant

Description:

The double-crested cormorant is a larger sized, black bird. In this picture you can see it sunning its black wings. Its wingspan is abut 28-35 inches. It has a long neck with a big, sharp beak.

Habitat:

This bird was found in a grassy wet area next to a lake. Earlier, we saw it standing in the lake.
