This mushroom gets its name because of the sprinkles on the cap. The name is derived from the Latin word 'mica', meaning 'a crumb', or maybe even 'micare', which means 'to glitter'.

Habitat:

Trees, dead and burried wood. Found these in a Pollard Willow.

Notes:

The location Amsterdam is incorrect, this should be The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands.
